Our Time is a short film created to capture the breadth of Getty Images’ diversity and culture. It premiered at the annual board meeting. It now anchors new-employee orientation, welcoming hires with a clear picture of the company’s values and creative spirit.
The challenge was clear: create a compelling, visually engaging film on a tight budget and an even tighter timeline. We had to protect production quality while staying efficient with resources and time, and still deliver a message that resonates with today’s team and the people who will join tomorrow.
Create a film that celebrates the company’s diverse culture with fresh storytelling and a dash of humour. We wrote a tight script and shot with clarity and pace, aiming for something that stays with the viewer. The piece needed to do double duty: impress the board and welcome new employees, earning its place in both settings.
We wrote Our Time as a tongue-in-cheek epic, scored with sweeping music that nods to classic sports-movie training montages. The tone winks, the stakes feel big, and the visuals carry the same lift of determination and momentum.
We shot on a RED camera for crisp, cinematic images. Post work in After Effects and Premiere Pro handled compositing, motion, and pacing. The result is a polished film that does the job: inspiring, memorable, and built within the project’s constraints.
