A technical experiment testing the limits of "identity consistency" in AI video generation by successfully turning a real dachshund into an AI actor for a micro-commercial.
To prepare for the future of dynamic, responsive VR/AR worlds, this project tackled the foundational challenge of identity consistency—proving that AI can maintain a single character's specific physical and emotional traits across multiple shots.
Built a highly detailed, text-based "north star" prompt using ChatGPT to anchor physical traits. Generated visual anchor images in Whisk, and combined text, photo, and scene descriptions into Flow to generate the video. Polished the final footage with motion graphics, color tweaking, and pacing in After Effects.
This project showed how combining multiple visual and textual anchors can help stabilize AI outputs. The result was a more cohesive micro-commercial that better preserved the subject’s physical attributes and expression.
