A mixed-media, live-action and puppetry commercial for iStock showcasing how royalty-free stock footage streamlines video production.
The brief was to visually and simply demonstrate that stock footage lowers costs and shortens timelines compared to original shoots. Because it was translated into a dozen languages, the narrative had to rely on universal visual humor and sight gags to ensure the pitch landed globally.
Executed a full-stack production (writing, directing, puppetry, motion graphics) shot over a single weekend with a dedicated crew. Used Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro to seamlessly composite motion graphics and "quiet visual effects" into the footage, sharpening the brand message.
The commercial was showcased at global conferences and fairs. It received positive internal feedback for delivering a simple, memorable pitch while meeting creative and technical goals.
